Squirt A spring tryouts will be held on the following dates at the Ann Arbor Ice Cube:

Monday, March 23 - 7:00 - 8:20 pm -  (Varsity)

Wednesday, March 25 - 7:00 - 8:20 pm - (Varsity)

Cost: $15 per tryout

The 98 Ann Arbor Wolves competed for a spot in the District 6 Tournament. 

When they took the ice the Wolves knew they were in for a battle. Having met the Lansing Capital Center Pride in a Thanksgiving tournament earlier this year Ann Arbor knew this would be a tough game. 

Ann Arbor jumped out to a 2 goal lead early in the first period but Lansing never quit and came back to tie the game by the end of the first period.

Lansing took the lead in the second period and held the Wolves at bay until late in the third period. 

Ann Arbor pulled their goalie with under a minute remaining and pounded a rebound past the Pride's goalie to tie the game at 3 all with 17 seconds remaining, sending the game into overtime. 

The overtime period was a stale mate and the game was to be decided by a shoot out. Each team selected 5 shooters and Ann Arbor won the coin toss and elected to shoot last. 

Ethan Harding, the Wolves' goaltender proved ready for the task by recording a shutout in the shoot out and Ryan McMullen, the Wolves first shooter, scored the only Wolves goal in the shootout and securing the victory
