Timbits (previously Sticks N Pucks) - Winter session begins January 9

WINTER SESSION IS NOW FULL--REGISTRATIONS ARE NO LONGER BEING ACCEPTED

(2002-2005 Boys and Girls) - AAAHA offers this program for young “wanna be” hockey players to get a taste of ice hockey without investing in all the equipment. Sessions are designed as creative time to “try out ice skating and get the feel of the puck”-- not as organized instructional or scrimmage time. Two sessions will be offered each year: one in Fall and one in Winter. Each session has nine 50-minute ice times on Saturdays. Unless you are notified by AAAHA that the program has closed, plan to come to the rink 30 minutes before the first scheduled ice time. Players can sign up for this program and Mini-Mites if they would like extra ice time. AAAHA provides league jersey. PLEASE arrive at least 30 minutes early to the first skate.

All skates are on Saturdays. Full equipment is not required, however players must have/wear the following equipment: Hockey helmet with facemask (HECC Certified), hockey stick, hockey gloves, properly fitted hockey skates, mouth guard, cup or pelvic supporter. Elbow pads and hockey shin pads are recommended.

The total season fee for  Timbits is $220, which pays for Fall and Winter sessions.   For Winter session only, the fee is $110.  There is no additional registration cost.  To register,  the following forms, all available on the Registration page, must completed and signed: AAAHA registration form, consent to treat, participant code of conduct, and parent code of conduct (must be signed by both parents/guardians). You must also provide a copy of your player's birth certificate and USA Hockey registration confirmation (www.usahockeyregistration.com).

Initiation Program - Winter session begins January 9

WINTER SESSION IS NOW FULL -- REGISTRATIONS ARE NO LONGER BEING ACCEPTED

(1992-2000 Boys and Girls) This is a skill development program for older players who have little or no organized ice hockey experience. Players are divided into groups based on age and ability. The program provides basic instruction in the fundamentals of skating, stick handling and the necessary hockey skills required for future team placement. Players who progress substantially may be placed on a house team during the season if their skills are sufficient and if there is room in their division. Ice time is on Saturdays. Full equipment is required . Jerseys and sox will be provided. Players will have nine 80-minute ice times. Players are accepted into the program upon receipt of their completed registration and deposit. Unless you are notified by AAAHA that the program has closed, plan to come to the rink 30 minutes before the first scheduled ice time.

All skates are on Saturdays. Full equipment is required: Ice Hockey helmet with facemask (HECC Certified), mouth guard, ice hockey shoulder pads and elbow pads, hockey pants, cup or pelvic supporter, hockey shin pads, hockey stick, hockey gloves, properly fitted hockey skates.

The following forms, all available on the Registration page, must completed and signed: AAAHA registration form, consent to treat, participant code of conduct, and parent code of conduct (must be signed by both parents/guardians). Mini-Mites

(2002 - 2004 Boys and Girls) This program focuses on building hockey fundamentals; new and non-skaters are welcome. Players are grouped by skill level: novice groups work primarily on skating and puck handling; more advanced groups continue individual skill development and work on building team skills. AAAHA has adopted the USA Hockey Cross Ice Program for the Mini-Mite level. Players practice and play hockey across the width of the ice surface. USA Hockey has shown that by participating in the Cross-Ice Hockey Program, kids increase their enjoyment of hockey and find that their hockey skills are greatly enhanced.

Full equipment is required: Ice Hockey helmet with facemask (HECC Certified), mouth guard, ice hockey shoulder pads and elbow pads, hockey pants, cup or pelvic supporter, hockey shin pads, hockey stick, hockey gloves, properly fitted hockey skates.   A jersey, name plaque and socks are provided.

The program begins Saturday, September 12. Look for the colored dot on your player's helmet and follow that schedule beginning September 19th.
